Supreme Site

So I copied this site to my blog from my color theory class blog, but it's just about the most amazing site I have ever seen. It's a site completely devoted to color, with user created pallets, patterns, blogs, and just about a million things related to colors. It's just really great. End of story.

Creative Time Spending

Although I don't have LOTS of free time, this is an example of one of the results of the little time I have. Usually, I end up using my digital scrapbooking stuff to make things, but lately, I have just made some things from playing with the colors and patterns and elements in the program. This is one of the most recent, and features on of my favorite flowers, a gardenia. I just used backgrounds and images from the program and played with the colors, textures, and layers.

Time Passes

Time is a complicated thing. One minute, we want it to speed up and get onto our next step in life, the next, we are trying so hard to get it to slow down and enjoy where we are in the moment. Time also shows what we hold dear and where our priorities are. Those who we hold closest get the most of our precious minutes. We treasure the time we spent with them, and remember those times fondly. Where we spend our time also demonstrates what we find important. Whether it's where we go on vacation or attend school or live, it's based off of matters of importance.time passes: summer. winter. fall.

Sweet Addiction

Starbucks. To some, this name may invoke hard feelings. Whether is be because of it's huge size as a company, or for the prices they charge for a grande, vanilla latte, people tend to hate, or in my case, love this place. I know it's ridiculous to pay $3.56 for a tall raspberry mocha, but it's worth it in my opinion. Conversations, study time, people watching, etc. are all part of this experience. So, although an extra shot is $.50, as is extra flavor and soy milk, the joy and comfort of being able to curl up with a personalized cup of coffee is priceless.
